Participants can select one of the following topics for an in-depth discussion:
1. Behavior Management
Explore strategies to guide young children's behavior in a positive, respectful, and developmentally appropriate way. Support children in developing self-regulation, social skills, and appropriate emotional expression while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
Guiding Questions:
- How do you respond when a child exhibits challenging behavior?
- What proactive strategies do you use to prevent disruptions?
- How do you teach and reinforce problem-solving and conflict resolution skills?
- What steps do you take to help children self-regulate and calm down when they are upset?
2. Classroom Environment
A well-designed classroom environment nurtures independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth while creating a strong sense of safety and belonging. Discuss and share how your school fosters an engaging and inclusive learning space.
