This free workshop is limited to TAIP Member Schools, Organizations, and Individual Members.

First Aid for Young Children

This will serve as both a basic introduction course and a refresher for anybody who has been certified in the past, covering a number of basic skills with a video demonstration and ample time for questions. The following skills will be covered, with a focus on children 1-6 years old:

  • Basic Protocol
  • Scene Assessment
  • CPR
  • AED Usage
  • Choking
  • Bleeding, Bandaging
  • Epipen Usage

Please note that participation in this event will not result in certification. Members interested in obtaining certification (a full-day course) can reach out to Alex to learn more about those opportunities.

Alex Batten is a certified CPR, AED, First Aid & Epipen Instructor who has certified almost 200 individuals over the past six years. He is also the current president of TAIP and has been a member of the international school community for 15 years.
